George R.R. Martin posted today a new excerpt of The Winds of Winter, the sixth and penultimate book in the A Song of Ice and Fire series. So far, Martin still hopes to finish the book for 2014 but with the experience of A Dance with Dragons, we never know. The excerpt is from the PoV of Arianne.

I am never going to get chance to catch up with GRRM. At first I wanted to read each book before the series of GoT came out, but now its all I can do to watch the show before the next season rolls around!
