Blood, more blood! I must admit that it's a nice new touch for the cover. Looks better with the blood. Maybe it's simply more fitting to have a cover for a book by Abercrombie with blood on it or the addition of more red... The US cover also had a big smear of blood...

The blood does indeed make the cover much more "Abercrombie." Some of the best books I've read in the past 10 years have been the 4 books he's already released. Simply a phenomenal writer.
