A round of covers

First up is the beautiful UK Harper Collins hardcover edition cover art for River of Stars by Guy Gavriel Kay:

Next is the North American Roc cover art for Luke Scull debut novel, The Grim Company:

Finally, why not conclude with a quatuor of infamous hooded assassins (or any type of hooded characters). With four of them, it could be another contender for my ''Best cover art with an infamous hooded assassin''.  Here are the covers for the e-book edition of Matthew Stover's Acts of Caine series (thanks to Adam at the Wertzone for sharing them):

How many books have written a review so far?

I just want to point out that "River of Stars" is a wonderful book, but dramatically different than Guy Gavriel Kay's earlier work. Here the main character is running counter to the culture of the time. I'm' sure in the coming reviews, A Fantasy Reader will point this out too, but since he's remodeling, I thought I'd put my two cents worth in. Incidently, I believe Kay is one of the best novelists of our time.
