Brent Weeks posted on Facebook the cover art for the US Trade Paperback release of The Black Prism this summer. It's the first contender this year for my ''Best cover art with an infamous hooded assassin''!
I DO mean Daylight War! :D I thought it was funny they used the same thing, but I guess the publishing world isn't known for being that creative...with covers that is. I mean, why is every book title "rising?" :)
I would have too, I was actually worried you might, but not until a couple hours after I posted the comment. :) I still need to read those. I've been putting off Weeks for too long. Him and Daniel Abraham. I read them about the same time, loved both series' (Night Angel and Long Price) and haven't gotten back.

ReplyDeleteHehe...it'll be up against some pretty stiff opposition.
My copy of The Daylight War (UK edition) says: Sunlight Casts the Deepest Shadows. I guess it's a good line.
ReplyDeleteI prefer the hardback covers (though the one on the left looks a little too Sanderson-y to me ...
ReplyDeletethey all leave me cold to be honest!
ReplyDeleteDaylight War Bryce? I think you mean Black Prism :)
